Infrastructure Engineer, Linux

As an Infrastructure Engineer working on the Client Platforms Engineering (CPE) team you will help engineer the systems and services powering the next generation of Twitch clients. We in CPE strive to provide Twitch developers the best development platform as well as building robust services for the deployed applications. The tools and services you engineer and maintain will be used by hundreds of developers and create the experience for millions.


  • Design and engineer services supporting Twilight development and deployment
  • Maintain availability of and associated services
  • Resolve issues with internal and external services


  • A degree in Computer Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years experience working on global web or gaming applications
  • Strong Linux knowledge including containers
  • Familiar with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or similar services
  • Production configuration management systems experience with Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or similar

  • Architectural experience creating highly-scalable global web services
  • Production Windows server familiarity
  • Passion for video games is a big plus
