Contracts Specialist

Every part of the work we do is with the goal of making Twitch even more efficient, resilient, and responsive. The Global Infrastructure Business Operations Team focuses on providing timely business support to the GI team. We work closely with global vendors as well as internal Twitch teams.  We are looking for a highly organized and efficient candidate who is able to manage the facilitation of a large set of contracts and purchase orders, while maintaining the integrity of data across several different systems. Successful candidates for this role will not only have previous knowledge of contracts practices but also have the ability to innovate and iterate on existing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain full life cycle for all infrastructure contracts; including organizing and managing workflows, metrics and retention of key documents
  • Manage complex agreements which includes maintaining a deep understanding of Twitch’s infrastructure templates, policy, risks, and legal position
  • Drive, negotiate, and report on contractual  terms, pricing, scope, schedule, milestones and deliverables with internal Legal and Development teams
  • Work with internal teams to track and process contracts using Salesforce
  • Proactively manage, notify, and track vendor SLA violations ensuring timely credits
  • Report on and actively track all expiration of contracts, including cancellation, and renewal policies
  • Review and reconcile invoices against projected spend and contracted services
  • Act as a liaison between internal Twitch teams and suppliers to resolve any contractual  issues
  • Identify and implement creative ways improve processes
  • Reconcile, validate, and maintain financial details  in Salesforce 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or related work experience
  • 2+ years of operations, finance, or contracting experience preferred
  • Experience interpreting complex contracts and other legal documents with a keen eye for details
  • Must have high attention to detail, be well organized and be a self-starter
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Relationship management experience
  • Able to take on other duties as required
  • International experience working with a growing list of diverse, global stakeholders

Bonus Points

  • Experience with Salesforce, Oracle, Netsuite, or Coupa is a plus
  • Basic understanding of Internet Networks
