Community Marketing Manager

As the community marketing manager, you would educate, engage, and excite. We are looking for someone to utilize product and brand initiatives to drive education across the community about Twitch’s current and long-term objectives. The ideal candidate will create touch points within the community through Twitch initiatives, events, and new opportunities. Ultimately, driving messages to the community while helping create the future narrative of Twitch.


  • Assists with the development of full scale community marketing/outbound communications programs focused around the broad goals of education, engagement, and excitement for the Twitch brand
  • Drives the creative narrative within Community Marketing campaigns, encompassing local, national and international marketing initiatives, including meet ups, Twitch Tours, formal events, and other engagements
  • Develops new opportunities to engage and educate the Twitch community through the use of strategic projects around brand and content
  • Works closely with Partnerships team on new creator opportunities, specifically encompassing Creator discovery and promotion
  • Collaborates closely with Product, Content, Influencer, and Brand Marketing teams, as well as Events to drive a narrative across the creator community, specifically related to messaging and creative production
  • Operates inclusively and can assist with the creation of messaging and programs for a wide range of creators - from newly established to the top 1%
  • Collaborates with the Community Marketing team at a local level, with true understanding and support of creator needs


  • Experience with planning creator-focused events or activations, as well as scheduling with multiple participants on a large scale
  • 2+ years in online media with strong preference in Production or Marketing
  • Must be organized, strategic, creative and able to clearly communicate how plans will impact organizational goals
  • Self-starter mentality: must be able to effectively work independently and autonomously
  • Interpersonal skills: effectively communicating, building rapport, and relating to others at all levels
  • Capable of managing and completing multiple projects and priorities at the same time within a rapidly changing environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present themselves professionally on-camera
  • Ability to travel to conventions and to the San Francisco Headquarters, approximately 60 days per year
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google docs and sheets
  • Experience within the gaming and Content Creator space
  • Deep knowledge of the games industry and games media
  • Familiarity with Twitch as a user and broadcaster
  • Strong existing relationships within the gaming community
