APAC Events Manager

Twitch is currently seeking an APAC Regional Events Manager to manage and execute live trade shows, parties and other gaming industry events. This position will be remotely located in Tokyo, reporting to the Head of Events in the USA.

As an APAC Events Manager, you will be working for one of the most exciting and creative companies in the world as help develop and build the APAC marketing events presence. This position requires working closely with the marketing, sales, community, and partnerships teams to develop and execute event plans that deliver key messages, product information, drive brand awareness and engage consumers and business audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Manage event planning and operations from pre to post, including venue selection, vendor negotiation and management, contracting, invoicing, logistics, supervision of building and labor, sponsor integration, onsite management, post-evaluation, etc.
  • Work with event organizers and partners to identify valuable opportunities and create additional branding opportunities at events
  • Collaborate with Marketing, PR, Sales, Partnerships, Content and Community teams ensuring that their needs are met and goals achieved via events
  • Create event briefs and reports for pre-planning communications and post-event evaluations and include tracking and reporting key performance metrics, objectives, and goals
  • Track and manage the APAC events budget

Requirements

  • Must be strategic, creative, and be able to clearly communicate how plans will deliver on our overall marketing goals
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience managing trade shows and event programs
  • Highly motivated with the ability to react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround
  • Capable of self-managing and completing multiple projects and priorities at the same time within a rapidly changing environment
  • Must be fluent in English as well as the language spoken in the country of residence
  • Ability to travel, more than 30 days of traveling a year
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in marketing related field preferred
