Because you belong at Twilio
The Who, What, Where and Why
Twilio is looking for a Solutions Architect who has the rare combination of technical savviness and business acumen and who’re looking for a career where both characteristics are fully utilized. You are a world class communicator being able to create sales presentations, product demonstrations, and educate customers (everyone from developers to product managers to C-level executives) on the best ways to utilize cloud communications technology. At the same time, you need to have a firm understanding of enterprise integration best practices, service oriented architecture and models for sharing IT services across the enterprise. Even better, you possess industry knowledge and experience to extend our message and positioning out to the market. Twilio’s Senior Sales Engineers are empowered to come up with creative solutions on the spot so we are looking for someone willing to challenge the status quo and throw out the manual on occasion.
A great day for you would be working closely with Account Executives on high impact enterprise customers, solving technical challenges while fostering confidence in our platform. At different stages of sales cycle, you might be helping customers compare and contrast various providers in the industry, along with how Twilio would stack up and clearly articulating (with experience) the advantages of Build versus Buy, discovering customer requirements and communicating the business value of solving technology problems using Twilio’s cloud communications technology, guiding the design and deployment of enterprise communications systems that impact multiple functional areas of a customer’s organization, preparing demos and proof of concepts to demonstrate various use cases for Twilio's APIs, or distilling and communicating customer needs and product feedback to Product Management, Engineering, Marketing and Sales. Ultimately You will hone each of technical selling skills by advising a diverse set of customers on what is The Art of The Possible using Twilio’s API.
This is a senior level position of Sales Engineering team. It is a critical role for Twilio to drive revenue and empower customers to build industry-leading communication applications. It is a great opportunity to influence a diverse set of cross-functional teams and drive success at Twilio as we grow our leadership position in the enterprise market.
