Senior Product Security Engineer

Who?

Twilio takes something very complex (communications) and makes it look easy, we’re looking for a Senior Product Security Engineer that can do that too! As a member of the Security Engineering team you will be responsible for the most difficult and interesting threat modeling activities, coordinating the automation of the SDL, and ensuring engineering have the tools and training to meet the highest security standards in the industry. You will also help build security tools to find and fix security bugs at scale. Successful candidates will have a proven track record of building secure applications, threat modeling effectively, and implementing various parts of an SDL. They should understand the security impacts and security decisions that need to be made to build secure products, and then be able to articulate those to engineers outside the Security team. 

What?

Twilio security works alongside engineering and product management, a great day for you would involve being their security subject matter expert, proposing secure solutions, working with our automation engineers to reduce manual work, and doing original research to grow the team and communities knowledge. You may work with technologies related to pipeline source code review, BURP/ZAP automation, detecting third-party library vulnerabilities, AWS, and Google Cloud. You will be helping more junior team members by mentoring them, providing guidance, and positively influencing their careers.
