Twilio is growing rapidly and seeking a Sr. Director, FP&A-Product to be a key leader in understanding our product line profitability trends and coordinating with our product and sales leaders on product mix dimensions across the business.
Reporting to the VP, FP&A, this position will lead our product finance reporting across business unit P&Ls, oversee our cost of goods sold forecasting and partner with our product and go-to-market teams on pricing and packaging initiatives. This role will have significant interaction with the CFO and meaningful exposure to the other C-Level executives.
This role will work cross-functionally with Product Business Units, our Network/Carrier Teams, Sales, Marketing, and data teams to set matrix-aligned targets and coordinate on best practices for scalability and data integrity.
Twilio is looking for a leader with a demonstrated track record in building and developing superior finance teams with best practices in a high-growth environment. We seek someone who is a sought-after manager, known for mentoring and professional development of their teams. The successful candidate will likely have at least 10 years of experience inside an operating technology company with significant exposure to product profitability, pricing models, and matrix or business line reporting. Additionally, this leader will be comfortable establishing cross-functional working groups, navigating operational complexity across multiple business units, and synthesizing financial and operational mechanics into relevant and actionable recommendations to C-Level executives. Finally, the right candidate will be humble, flexible and willing to tackle the necessary hurdles to drive positive collaboration for meaningful business outcomes.
As the Sr. Director-FP&A, Product, you will be a thought-leader in shaping the financial framework for our product families in partnership with our R&D leadership teams. You will interact extensively with Product Management and will translate product strategy into measurable financial reporting to improve our target setting for revenue, margin and operating investment levels. Translating business knowledge into consumable, scalable, financial models will be a fundamental attribute of this role. Additionally, a key function of this role will be to ensure that the financial models reflect an aligned approach to product definitions, pricing strategies, margin goals and investment priorities across product, sales, and subject matter experts within COGS, pricing, and network operations.
