Twilio is looking for the founding Solutions Architect for our Expert Services in APAC to work hand in hand with our largest and most innovative contact center customers to lead technical workshops and onsite consultations.  The right person for this role has the technical acumen to be an expert on the Twilio Contact Center offering, the consulting skills needed to map a customer’s requirements to a Twilio solution, and the entrepreneurial spirit needed to build a services business from the ground up.  You should feel comfortable in front of a mix of business and technical audiences leading white boarding and coding sessions. This role is focused on Twilio’s Contact Center offering including Twilio’s Flex product therefore a background in contact center technology as well as React/Redux is a plus.   



As the founding Solutions Architect you will be the pioneer Expert Service consultant working closely with developers from world class organizations to build next generation contact center applications.  You will go onsite with customers for 3-5 days to run Discovery and Development workshops building on top of Twilio TaskRouter and Twilio Flex – the first fully programmable cloud contact center platform.

As an Expert Services founder in your region, you will work with account executives and customers to evaluate how services, packaging, and pricing should be customized to make your region successful. During your engagements you will work with customers to understand their requirements and map those requirements to a Twilio solution.   You will create professional presentations and architecture specifications that you will present to customers. You will also work with development teams in an agile environment to lead short development sprints to rapidly create and demo Twilio powered solutions to customer stakeholders.  

On a daily basis you will have the opportunity to work closely with Twilio product and engineering teams to help shape the products and services that reach a huge market.

You will be traveling 60-70% of the time for this role

This position will be located in our rapidly growing office in Australia or Singapore. You’ll also be traveling onsite to customers and partners across Asia Pacific.
