Director of Product Operations
Because you belong at Twilio
The Who, What, Where and Why
Twilio is looking for a Director of Product Operations who wants to operate as a COO for how Product and R&D teams work. You are a thought leader that can drive thin layers of standardization of product development through system automation, analytics and reporting. In short, you will partner effectively with Product and R&D leadership and proactively create the conditions where more products, that are of higher quality, with better product-market fit, are the natural result. You will:
- Have the ability to build teams, design, and implement at scale processes
- Have deep understanding in Software Development Lifecycle Process management
- Have strategic planning capabilities
A great day for this leader and their team spans a wide spectrum such as:
- Collaborate deeply with Product and Engineering leaders on future strategy, investment decision making, and/or board deck preparation
- Devise strategies and implementation of plans that increase software delivery productivity
- Refining product lifecycle stages
- Help drive anything that touches R&D's strategy and/or operations
We have a unique culture where all of R&D operates in independent small teams that are cross-functionally staffed and given the freedom to run as fast as they can. Twilio is growing rapidly, the number of initiatives that Twilio takes on is growing, and the number of small teams is growing. This person and the team they build will enable these small teams to continue to be fast and agile in a scalable manner across Twilio. Our small teams culture is critical to our continued growth and success.
