Being a Strategic Account Director at TubeMogul
A Strategic Account Director helps our customers get the most out of their digital brand advertising efforts. They are a key player in ensuring our continued success. The ideal candidate is an intense but consultative professional with strong analytical and communication skills. You are a tour de force when it comes to managing executive-level relationships and driving overall account penetration, growth & retention. You will be expected to be a leading expert in a product-focused company and fast-moving industry.
You’ll be a consultative, driven client partner with experience in driving adoption of a SaaS marketing solution into Brands. You’ll be creating new opportunities at a senior level, developing strategic plans and navigating the process of growing business with multiple decision makers.
- Lead senior level engagement at brands, agencies and relevant 3rd party partners
- Develop deep understanding of clients’ business and marketing objectives, marketing stack, workflows, and needs through in-person and remote meetings
- Penetrate large & complex organizations to drive adoption of TubeMogul's cross-screen software
- Understand historical and trending characteristics of the media buying landscape
- Drive holistic success of your accounts as measured by revenue, profitability and customer satisfaction
- Develop business plans to penetrate and maximize the opportunities within your accounts to develop a sustainable and recurring book of business
- Educate and evangelize programmatic media buying and TubeMogul’s platform
- Drive thought leadership by developing and presenting case studies; may involve editorial authorship and public speaking opportunities
- Coordinate / functionally manage an account team to drive executional excellence (strategy without execution has no value)
- 5+ years of experience in the digital media landscape
- Ideally working as a Media Manager / Digital Marketing Manager for a global brand
- Experience partnering with senior executives at brands and agencies
- TV buying experience is a plus
- Proven track record of growing a MM+ book of business
- Ad technology and digital media competitive marketplace expert
- Can work independently and problem-solve in ambiguous situations
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication and presentation skills
- Impeccable attention to detail and an ability to guide executional success
- A track record of developing enduring client/partner relationships
- Strong work ethic and drive to exceed expectations
