Vice-President, Global Sales Engineering

The Vice-President, Sales Engineering is a key leader in Trustwave’s global Go-To-Market Strategy. The Sales Engineering Organization provides technical enablement to our customers, Sales Organization and Channels across the world. The Vice-President of Sales - Sales Engineering role reports to the SVP of Sales and partners with the regional sales VP’s, alliance partners, and channel relationships. This role is directly responsible for supporting the sales organization in all aspects of the sales cycle with respect to revenue generation, as well as providing leadership in driving readiness, operational excellence and personal development in the sales engineering organization.

The Vice-President, Sales Engineering will be responsible for providing leadership, direction and inspiration to the sales organization, leading by example and driving a culture of personal leadership, ownership and initiative. This VP will continue to build the sales engineering organization through the attraction and retention of talented Sales Engineering professionals while finding the right balance between technical excellence, business acumen and soft skills that align with Trustwave’s strategy. 

The Vice-President, Sales Engineering continues to develop robust processes to deliver productive, disciplined and effective ways of doing business. They will ensure that Sales Engineering resources are effectively organized, trained and are aligned to maximize incremental revenue growth and customer satisfaction across the world. They will also have strong personal engagement with customers through demonstrating executive presence and maximizing customer satisfaction - ensuring that all efforts are made to continue to be a trusted technical advisor.  All members of Trustwave’s leadership team are expected to have strong communication skills, and the Vice-President of Sales - Sales Engineering team will be a key presenter/participant in Executive Briefings and will be able to communicate our value proposition to a broad range of customer stakeholders at CxO level. 

Finally, this VP will act as a facilitator of collaboration across internal stakeholders including Sales, Product Management and others to ensure that key initiatives and synergies are leveraged, while working very closely with the global sales organization in terms of programs and plans. 


We prefer college-educated applicants, but at minimum, high school diploma or equivalent is required for employment.
