WHAT WE’RE SEEKING:

Trustwave is looking for a talented (Full Stack) Web Developer to work on our Chicago based Marketing team. This individual is familiar with all layers in web application development and is familiar with the digital marketing lifecycle.  The individual should have skills rooted in .Net / C# based web application development. If you’re someone who has experience with the entire web software development life cycle from end-to-end, is a great leader, and manages working well across multiple simultaneously running projects, then keep reading.

WHAT YOU'll DO:

The Full Stack Web Developer will lead our high-visibility corporate website, and will work on new projects from conception to design through development and into production, helping at every step in the process. This member of the team will also work on giving legacy PHP applications a fresh coat of paint and in some cases perhaps rebuild the whole house -- all this while keeping our marketing strategies and business goals in focus for everything we do. This role will report directly to the Director of Marketing, Web Services, and work alongside a team of talented web gurus. We win as a team (must have integrity and no ego).

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Has a proven track record of leading and executing successful, polished web projects 
  • Has experience and knowledge working in the corporate enterprise environment 
  • Has established contacts and relationships in the creative, and digital industry
  • Can communicate effectively: listen, give clear direction verbally and has strong writing skills
  • Has experience working closely with upper management
  • Can work well on a team but independently as well
  • Can solve unforeseen situations before or as they arise in a calm manner
  • Has a sense of urgency to solve problems efficiently and quickly
  • Proven .Net / C# development experience
  • Able to work under the pressure of defined, often tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of infrastructure and architecture
  • HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3 (& LESS/SASS)
  • Working knowledge of cloud deployed applications to services like Microsoft Azure and AWS
  • Has strong data analytic skills and looks forward to showing what works and what doesn’t


OUR REQUIREMENTS:

  • Disciplined approach to testing, security, and quality assurance
  • S in Computer Science or comparable education/work experience
  • Experience with web infrastructure and distributed cloud-based systems 
  • Experience with web development best practices
  • Has strong data analytic skills and looks forward to showing what works and what doesn’t 
  • 5+ years developing web and mobile marketing web applications for B2B
  • Experience with cross browser quirks and compatibility issues.
  • Understanding of the full web technology stack
