WHAT WE’RE SEEKING: 

Trustwave is looking for a talented Field Marketing Manager, Pacific. In this role, you will report to the VP, Field Marketing where you will collaborate across marketing and sales to execute programs igniting market awareness and demand creation for target client segments in the Pacific market. This role will be the primary field marketer in our Pacific region, collaborating across the entire Marketing team to ideate, develop, execute, and track the results of digital and in-person marketing programs

Your responsibilities will include partnering with the Growth Marketing and Comms teams to execute our global demand-gen campaigns in the target geographic region, including all the tools in the marketing portfolio: digital and in-person events, local collateral and content development, webinars, paid and organic media, PR, client engagement program (CAB, case studies, awards programs), alliances and channel collaboration, in order to generate demand from new buyers within our existing client base and from new prospects/logos. You will own the last marketing mile, liaising across our sales, business development and marketing teams to penetrate targeted accounts with insightful, well-structured programs and to ensure timely action on client and prospect interest.  The Field Marketing Manager, Pacific is expected to work closely with Trustwave’s Pacific sales and solutions teams to communicate our marketing plans, gain feedback from our frontline teams on how to improve and refine those programs, and then manage and track the marketing-generated and marketing-influenced lead funnel with our Sales teams. The role is expected to leverage Salesforce.com, our Marketing Automation platform, and our Marketing results dashboard to engage regularly with Sales teams on growing our high-quality lead funnel through to the Opportunity and Close stages, and then collaborate with the VP, Field Marketing to report to Pacific and Marketing leadership on those results.

The Field Marketing Manager, Pacific will also collaborate closely with Field Marketing roles in other regions, primarily Americas and EMEA, to share best practices and lessons learned across the Field Marketing team.  

As a savvy, digitally oriented marketing leader, you will leverage leading edge marketing approaches alongside traditional levers to drive business impact.  You will use data to inform decisions and to better target clients and markets to act on demand signals, accelerating conversion of lead flow to incremental demand.  You will be an evangelist, amplifying and helping others to amplify the Trustwave message and brand in market.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Plan and execute a high performing marketing program focused on targeted awareness and demand creation
  • Utilize modern marketing functionality with digitally native messaging, campaigns and tactics
  • Drive demand with new buy centers and new logos within targeted client segments
  • Leverage global campaigns and content and customize to Americas regional requirements where needed
  • Work closely with sales and sales leadership to increase the flow of qualified leads, optimize lead management and conversion to pipeline
  • Serve as the marketing business partner to Pacific sales, bringing the full value of marketing to the region and providing input from regional opportunities into adjacent marketing functions
  • Alongside growth marketing, build and execute a quarterly and annual marketing plan
  • Report and manage on agreed KPIs, find opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiency
  • Partner with key stakeholders in Marketing, Product Management, Delivery and Regions to strategize and plan for the best marketing approach against desired outcomes
  • Work with key technology and channel partners to ideate, develop and execute mutually beneficial marketing programs
  • Drive regional event strategy, optimizing the mix of virtual and physical events, to generate incremental demand
  • Promote Trustwave brand by identifying and securing client and SME evangelism opportunities
  • Use data and analytics to inform and optimize marketing campaigns and to inform stakeholders of interesting insights and demand signals
  • Collaborate effectively with teammates and stakeholders to optimize marketing execution and efficiency
  • Report on marketing performance and ROI metrics

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 5+ years of experience of field marketing and campaign experience, developing & executing multi-channel strategies and demand generation programs
  • Proven track record of creating and tracking demand-gen results
  • Deep understanding of marketing and sales processes, lead conversion and KPIs throughout the demand gen funnel
  • Collaborative presence with ability to engage and partner with colleagues across the business and with channel/alliances partners
  • Growth mindset; Ability to deal with ambiguity, think outside the box and provide a continuous flow of new ideas and process improvements
  • Comprehensive understanding and demonstrated success leveraging digital and traditional marketing approaches
  • Cross-functional leader, natural communicator and ability to build relationships and alignment
  • Proficient in analyzing data and distilling results for leadership 
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with desire to drive an impact in a high-growth, transformative environment
  • Bachelors’ Degree preferably with a Business or Marketing major or related field
