Accounts Receivable - Collections Specialist

Within the Finance team we are currently hiring an AR Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing technology company located Poland. This is a 3pm to 11pm shift.  To be successful in this role, candidates must be self-motivated, energetic, proactive, and work independently in a team environment.  Additionally, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is required. This position has high visibility across the company including sales, operations, finance, and service functions.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage an Accounts Receivable portfolio consisting of various Trustwave customers.
  • Analyze AR aging reports and perform periodic review of bad debt exposure by account.
  • Contact clients regarding delinquent accounts and collection of payments.
  • Research any account discrepancies and work with sales and service personnel to resolve issues and facilitate collections.
  • Record all collection activity and ensure prompt and systematic follow-up for all accounts.
  • Meet collection goals individually and as a department.
  • Prepare weekly collection reports for management review.
  • Respond to customer requests and provide support as requested.
  • Research discrepancies and provide resolution in a timely manner.
  • Monthly close activities including reconciliations.
  • Assist in the interim and year-end audit procedures.
  • Assist with other projects on an as-needed basis, as directed by management. 

Qualifications:

  • Work Experience (0-1 year) preferred
  • Intermediate Excel and Word skills.
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to multi-task, follow through, and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to fast-paced growing environment.
  • Working knowledge of accounting software package experience or ERP system.

Education:

We prefer college educated applicants, but at minimum, high school diploma or equivalent is required for employment.
