Our Sales Specialist is responsible for expanding relationships with existing customers by directing and supporting collaborative sales efforts to grow Tripwire’s Vulnerability Management product line. The Strategic Account Manager closes on qualified opportunities referred by the Business Development Sales Representative, Account Manager, or other sales personnel, while actively collaborating with these team members.
The Sales Specialist is responsible for achieving sales quota in the assigned product lines, and for supporting the product-line success of an assigned team of sales associates.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Consistently achieve revenue targets on a quarterly and annual basis.
Provides coaching and professional development to team-member sales associates in order to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills.
Lead demand-generating marketing activities in the vulnerability management space for the IP360 technology products and solutions.
Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
Coordinate the customer involvement of other company personnel when needed, including support resources, team members, and management.
All other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
4 year College degree in a related field required. Master’s Degree in Business preferred.
10+ year’s sales experience in the enterprise software industry (ideally within the IT Security space) in progressively more responsible positions.  Exposure to IP 360 solution considered a plus.
Track record of success in closing large strategic deals
Experience working in a sales role for Multinational companies preferred
Experience in overlay sales organizations, preferred
Recognized as having a track record of overachievement such as a member of company’s President Club or other professional recognition of excellence in sales.
Technically proficient with a strong curiosity in the high tech industry.
Experience in enterprise security and or vulnerability management, a definite asset.
Excellent presentation/communication/influencing/negotiating skills, both written and verbal. Must have the professional polish and poise to communicate at a level appropriate to the audience (customers, staff, peers and senior management).
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to excel in a team oriented atmosphere. 
Expertise with use of Salesforce.com
Must be able to travel (Midwest based)
