Marketing Automation Intern
The skills that make marketers successful in today's digital landscape are shifting dramatically with the rise of Marketing Automation. The number of organizations adopting Marketing Automation Platforms has grown over 10x since 2011. Despite the solid growth rate, these businesses are still in the minority, limiting opportunities for next-generation marketers to break into the field and gain practical, hands-on experience. Tripwire is proud to have such an opportunity within the Digital Marketing team.
The Marketing Automation Intern will develop and deploy marketing emails and landing pages using Tripwire's automation platform, Marketo. The emails will range from lead generation tactics to product update notifications. Each email will be crafted in a way that resonates with the recipients and prompts a positive response. The intern will also monitor program performance as needed. This position will consist of 20 hours of work per week.
Build emails and landing pages, customizing as needed to suit the audience and/or asset
Test, evaluate, and benchmark email campaigns to uncover opportunities to maximize response
Create automation programs to track performance of downloadable web assets and webcasts
General maintenance and optimization of marketing programs and processes as needed
Rudimentary HTML knowledge and Microsoft Office proficiency
Previous experience with any Email Service Provider (MailChimp, Constant Contact, ExactTarget, etc.)
Demonstrated technical aptitude with a software application/tool (WordPress, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, etc.)
Pursuing or recently obtained bachelor’s degree in communications, design, journalism, marketing or related field
