Business Development, Manager (Mobile/Performance)

The Role
TripleLift is seeking a driven Business Development, Manager for our NY or SF office to educate our partners on the holistic value and narrative of TripleLift. We’re looking for someone who enables our performance and mobile specific buyer's business development teams to support their own technology, sales and account teams by training them on TL’s best practices. Demonstrating the ability to create, develop and enhance relationships with clients in a partner ecosystem, with a focus on proactively anticipating and solving problems.

  • Educate TripleLift’s internal demand & publisher teams on the unique value each Partner brings to advertisers and agencies
  • Develop new relationships with performance and mobile app specific buyers, build this key customer segment’s TripleLift strategy and GTM plan 
  • Continually keep Partners updated and informed of all new ad product and ad programs so they are able to effectively present TripleLift's new offerings to their clients
  • Act as quarterback to manage escalations between TripleLift, the partner and the client, both technically and commercially
  • Work with the Partner’s sales team to forecast, manage, and drive growth of their clients’ TripleLift investments
  • Create and maintain relationships between the sales teams of our Partners and TripleLift so teams can collaborate to grow our shared clients’ businesses
  • Lead marketing efforts with Partners via industry events, PR, thought leadership, case studies, etc.
  • Proactively bring market and product feedback from the Partner to key stakeholders at TripleLift
  • Represent TripleLift at Partner events, particularly those where advertiser and agency interfacing are involved
  • Lead quarterly business reviews with key Partners to drive exec alignment and ensure we’re focused on driving new and existing account growth together
Desired Skills and Attributes
  • A strong understanding of marketing technology and digital platforms across the Display, Search, Social, Programmatic, and Mobile ecosystem, specifically in mobile and retargeting 
  • Proven track record of managing a revenue pipeline with forward-looking predictability
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, attention to detail, and a bias for action
  • Aptitude to work in small teams but influence across the organization via effective cross-functional leadership and communication
  • Effective at working with peers and managers across business, product, and engineering discipline
  • Enthusiasm to roll up your sleeves and move quickly while keeping the big picture in mind
  • An entrepreneurial streak where you relish the opportunity to make partnerships, processes, and products better
Education Requirement
A Bachelor’s degree in advertising, communications, marketing, or a related discipline is preferred, though candidates with relevant experience who hold other degrees will be considered.
Experience Requirement
5+ years of experience managing digital marketing programs for advertisers or their agencies, or experience working with or at digital ad technology companies
