Team Lead, Tier 1 Content, APAC

 

The Team Lead position based in the Singapore office is responsible for handling the day to day tasks

associated with managing our relationship with the CMI Team based in the Philippines. The position is responsible for ensuring quality and productivity standards for our team, managing the hiring and

interview process for new analysts, and reporting on the team's progress.

 

 

  • Act as a liaison with the teams at our Philippines partner site who moderate review content
  • Communicate frequently with on-site management of remote teams to assure standards of quality

and productivity are maintained

  • Enforce high standards across team via thorough QA process
  • Track and report on team’s progress and metrics
  • Continually adapt team processes to evolving goals, using data to drive decision-making and

  • Proactively identify improvements to all team processes, including opportunities to fully utilize the

team’s skill set to meet our internal objectives

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the success of all processes
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and escalate bug reports to Engineering team
  • Assist in the hiring process for new analysts, including actively interviewing prospective candidates

and ensuring smooth communication with internal stakeholders

  • Ensure the integrity of TripAdvisor content via proprietary tools and processes
  • Travel to the Philippines site as needed to interact with global teams in person
  • Proactively identify ways to maintain and improve team’s moral
  • Monitor quality of team, as well as mentoring and managing direct supervisors

 

Candidates must possess the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across teams and different cultures, have strong multitasking skills, be flexible and able to adjust to changing demands and priorities, and work well in fast-paced environments.

Fluency in English and knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

  • Ability to manage a group independently.
  • Ability to proactively identify new opportunities and issues and resolve them independently. Experience managing a remote group would be advantageous
  • 3+ years’ experience collaborating with a global workforce to meet shared goals
  • 3+ years’ experience making decisions based on data analysis while maintaining a focus on long-term goals
  • Strong time management/prioritization skills, flexibility, and multi-tasking ability
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with web-based tools
  • Excellent editorial judgment and strong command of the English language, knowledge of additional

languages is a plus

  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, as well as Google Docs and Sheets; some SQL experience a plus
  • Some flexibility to occasionally work non-traditional hours in order to accommodate time zones of
