Sales Operations Manager

We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Operations professional to assist with the overall productivity and effectiveness of the sales organisation. The role works across each Insides Sales functional area to ensure sales systems and processes are working in accordance with plans.
This individual will be detail-oriented but will also thrive in a high energy work environment. The Sales Operations Manager will work directly with the sales teams (Sales Management, Business Development Sales, Optimization, Continuity, and Sales Enablement) to ensure best practices in sales execution.


This role will combine excellent sales and operations skills, as well as good relationship building skills. S/he will have a strong background in operations, project management, and inside sales with a track-record of success.

 

        Responsibilities:

  • Works with Analytics and sales management to identify sales target opportunity
  • Assists with the equitable assignment of Salesforce quotas and ensures quotas are optimally allocated across all sales channels and resources
  • Coordinates sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes
  • Assists with monitoring pipeline coverage against sales targets, highlighting risks and gaps
  • Works with management in the administration of sales incentive compensation programs
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with Accounting, Finance, and Human Resources regarding sales incentives and commission payouts
  • Works with accounting, finance, etc. to ensure corporate sales compliance
  • Assists with Salesforce.com administration supporting Insides Sales organization
  • Monitors the assigned sales organization’s compliance with required standards for maintaining CRM data
  • Reviews the accuracy of various sales reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization
  • Recommends revisions to existing reports or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed
  • Identifies and escalates common system and process errors issues
  • Assists sales management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies

         Organisational Alignment

  • Reports to the Director, Sales Operations – Hotel Solutions
  • Alignment with Global stakeholders across Sales Management, Sales Enablement, Product and Enterprise Engineering, and Business Analytics
  • Fosters close, cooperative relationships with peers, sales management, and other sales and support personnel.

        Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Sales operations/sales enablement/sales experience
  • Ability to take high level sales strategies, translate to system requirements, and ensure local execution
  • Previous experience with Salesforce.com
  • Technological skills to manage disparate systems
  • Self-motivated and thorough
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a hands-on approach and demonstrated ability to multi-task and think creatively
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Willing to travel when needed
