Global Content Specialist, Vietnamese

 

TripAdvisor is expanding globally and looking to hire a Global Content Specialist to handle a wide variety of content and support related duties.

 

 

Take ownership of activities relating to Vietnamese point of sale, including planning resources and forecasting content volumes

 

Ensure the accuracy of user submitted information about destinations, hotel, restaurant and

attractions, localizing property information as appropriate

 

Ensure the integrity and quality of TripAdvisor content via proprietary tools and processes

 

Fulfill the role of a trainer to new team members and mentor to junior analysts, conduct

regular quality assessment and maintain training documentation

 

Use data analysis to identify user needs and trends, collaborate with management team on

implementing updates to content policies and internal processes based on the findings

 

Research and implement projects aimed at improvements and issue resolution across

multiple language platforms

 

Troubleshoot technical problems and escalate bug reports to Engineering team

Act as a liaison between the Global Content team and other groups within TripAdvisor,

facilitating information exchange and collaboration

 

Act as a liaison between Vietnamese users and organization to help grow active member

base

 

Provide expert advice related to trends on Vietnamese point of sale and its users to the

product team

 

Scan the site daily for localization improvements

 

 

2-5 years professional experience

BA/BS required

Fluency in Vietnamese and English

 Basic knowledge of databases and SQL a plus

Flexibility to work across a number of business functions

 Editorial and/or online community experience preferred

 Ability to learn new tools and skills quickly

 Strong communication skills and ability to easily collaborate across a global workforce

Excellent editorial judgment and strong command of the English language

Service oriented and maintains composure under pressure

Strong time management/prioritization skills, flexibility and multi-tasking ability

Experience working in a fast-paced web environment with web-based tools

Excellent people skills and the ability to resolve user issues diplomatically

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
