Job Description
This is a new and exciting role for the Trimble Construction sector. The Technical Account Manager (TAM) will work with Trimble's "Construction Key Accounts" to guide the application and adoption of Trimble's technical solutions. The Technical Account Manager (TAM) will be accountable for developing the technical strategy for each Key Account in order to identify and measure the value impact of the Trimble Construction products. The TAM will be an integral part of the Key Accounts team and work in close cooperation with Product Managers from the different divisions. The TAM will work in an interdependent mode across Trimble Construction to develop unique plans to drive the customer's business initiatives by leveraging the Trimble Construction One solutions. The TAM will work as a "trusted advisor" to 6-10 Key accounts at the technical influencer and decision making levels to "architect" solutions as well co-manage adoption plans.

Responsibilities:
- Work hand in hand with the Key Account Managers to inform the technical strategy for each account
- Build relationships across the Trimble Construction business unit to bring the best of Trimble's solution leaders and technologies to guide the customer's
- Co-develop account plans with the account team and product specialists from divisions
- Bring strategic insights and product requirements to the divisional product groups to improve Trimble's customer satisfaction and competitiveness in the marketplace
- Deeply understand the customer workflows with efforts to compliment the Key Account's technology stack.
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the customer base
- Work with the marketing team to inform account based marketing and resonant customer messaging
- Build technology adoption plans that ensure customer impact and satisfaction
- A Bachelor or Masters degree /Bonus in construction management, engineering or architecture
- Strong industry experience either from working within a construction firm and/or working in the construction technology field.
- A deep understanding of the key technical solutions that are leveraged across the construction workflows from contract pursuits, acquisition, execution and owner hand over
- A solid understanding of construction customer types from architect, engineering, general contractor, trade contractor, and owner
- Understanding of the key roles within each customer type from back office to the field (i.e. estimators, project executives, project managers, etc.)
- Successful experience in working and collaborating across the customer and internal roles
- Successful experience in building and executing plans- general project management
- Experience working in a matrixed organization with many products/solutions.
- Ability to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative, and team-oriented environment
- Experience in leveraging solution selling tools and methods
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Highly self-motivated and able to work with little direct supervision
- A high tolerance for ambiguity in working in a dynamic environment
