Salesforce Administrator


Travelclick is seeking an individual who will play a pivotal role in optimizing and maintaining Salesforce to help support our internal departments and users. The Salesforce Administrator will work as part of the Salesforce Administration team (within the Global Sales Ops organization) to support many functions. This individual will work closely with various departments including sales, customer support, and technology to implement new improvements, features, functionalities and processes within the company. An ideal candidate would be comfortable translating business needs into solutions, using the Salesforce platform


• Support a global deployment of Salesforce with 800+ users spanning across multiple functional areas (sales, customer service, account management, etc.)
• Work with business users to gather requirements for enhancements and translate the business needs into technical design
• Work with developers and IT team to provide direction and support where more advanced solutions are required (e.g., Apex classes, triggers, VisualForce), and assist with testing those solutions.
• Develop new and maintain existing functionality within including custom objects, custom fields, formulas, workflows, page layouts, validation rules, assignment rules, and analytics, roles, profiles, security
• Work within sandbox environments and follow a release schedule, to maintain system integrity
• Perform data cleanup using the Apex Data Loader
• Provide ongoing support and administration for users including basic up to advanced user questions


• Certified Administrator preferred; 2-3 years administration experience required, with strong understanding of best practices and functionality
• Proven experience building components of a Salesforce system in the effort to support core business processes, including: custom objects, validation rules, workflows, reporting, dashboards, assignment rules, email2case, formula fields
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upward
• Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment; well organized, and ability to multi-task
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with ability to work with key stakeholders across the global organization
• Strong communication (both written and verbal) skills are required; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
• Experience with Salesforce1 Mobile App and/or Chatter is a plus
