Sr. Sales Operations and Communications Specialist

Dynamics of the Role

The Sr., Sales Analyst is responsible for sales operation and sales marketing efforts for our TransUnion Consumer Interactive Team (TUCI). This person will report to the Sr. Director of Business Development. They will help TUCI continue to grow revenue and profits. They will be responsible for (1) bolstering TUCI's sales efforts by ensuring that its sales people are well-equipped (2) helping to expand TUCI's business development and LeadGen efforts (3) drive sales operations efforts to ensure transparency and accuracy of sales processes and information

The Team's Focus

TransUnion Consumer Interactive creates web-based financial products that help consumers manage their credit, identity and money. Our products are delivered directly to consumers and indirectly via strategic partnerships. Our product suite includes TransUnion Credit Monitoring and ID Theft Protection—products that help our customers monitor critical changes in their credit by assisting them with debt analysis, identity theft protection features, and money management tools. Our team maintains an entrepreneurial environment with a dynamic and fast paced setting.

How You'll Contribute:

  • Sales Operations

o Help enroll new sales people into tools and ensure training as needed

o Drive adoption and use of key sales tools to ensure information is accurate, relevant and tools are working properly

o Perform quantitative analysis and create reports to provide insight into sales effort and guide business development planning

o Build sales reports and models to help support sales initiatives

  • Sales Enablement & Marketing

o Create customer facing sales material including collateral, website content, social media content, emails and mock ups by working with cross functional teams including designers and compliance

o Ensure that sales people are informed on potential customer background and clear on proposed product and pricing

o Help define our overall communication messaging and marketing strategy for assigned market

o Work with team members to plan and manage industry events

  • Business Development

o Become a market SME and provide relevant information on industry trends, the competitive landscape and potential customer demand

o Develop white papers, share research studies and analysis and work with outside vendors to obtain key insights into our markets

o Collaborate with sales to help generate new opportunities to support their new business growth activities, including developing sales campaigns with measurable results, driving sales leads via website, email marketing and other digital marketing efforts

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Economics, or related field
  • 3 years in a Sales Operations and/or marketing role
  • Must have strong skills in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and Powerpoint tools such as Slide Rocket or Prezi desired but not required
  • Experience with email marketing and LeadGen tools such as Eloqua and Exact Target desired but not required
  • Strong writing and powerpoint skills
  • Some experience with trade show support or planning
  • Experience in the following industries desired: personal financial management, financial services, id protection
  • Self-motivated and organized
  • Quick learner, particularly on web-based tools
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Comfortable with quantitative analysis and financial models
  • Patient and modest with willingness to perform administrative tasks
