Senior Incident Response Handler

What You'll Bring:

This role is a member of the larger Cyber Threat Management team, which includes security analysts and incident handlers who work alongside teams responsible for red teaming, intelligence analysis, and technical threat researchers. This role will lead response efforts to complex attacks against TransUnion globally and participate in a wide range of larger IR program activities specific to our growing cloud and other environments.

We are a geographically diverse team, with offices and personnel around the globe, making this a remote work position for the right candidate. To support these requirements in addition to the technical skills listed below ideal candidates will also have prior remote work experience and possess necessary soft skills to support their success.
  • Minimum of 5 year's experience in Information Security and/or Information Technology.
  • Ensuring technical risks, newly-discovered by the Cybersecurity team, are clearly documented and assigned to accountable business owners as findings in TransUnion's eGRC system.
  • Tracking assigned findings towards timely remediation or risk mitigation & residual risk acceptance
  • Facilitating regular risk acceptance review & approval committee meetings
  • Facilitating timely validation and closure of completed remediation plans and associated findings


Impact You'll Make:
  • Developing, maturing and maintaining processes for full-lifecycle risk management.
  • Serving as liaison for business owners and Information Security Officers to help address questions and facilitate timely resolution of identified risks.
  • Develop and maintain metrics and a comprehensive security scoring system reflecting the state of security controls across all business units & geographies.
  • Develop, mature and maintain related KPI reports for monthly eGRC reporting.
  • Other duties as required.
