ADVISOR – REGULATORY/COMPLIANCE

Dynamics of the Role

This role will coordinate the efforts necessary to achieve conformance with new compliance and/or regulatory requirements for which CCS is responsible. The position is responsible to operationalize and manage the implementation of all new CCS compliance and/or regulatory requirements ensuring completeness and accuracy, as well, as ensuring that all milestones are met on schedule.

The Team's Focus

TransUnion's Contact Center Services Group is charged with managing the various touch points - mail, fax, e-mail and telephone – through which consumers and certain business-to-business customers and partners interact with the company. Crum Lynne hosts TransUnion's operational Center of Excellence which prides itself in providing capabilities through the sharing, adoption and establishment of best practices. How You'll Contribute:

  • Identifies and prioritizes process and technology-related dependencies to CCS compliance gaps and/or new regulatory requirements, as well as the development and implementation of business plans to meet new CCS compliance and/or regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinates cross-organizational efforts, including Global Technology resources, toward operationalizing new CCS compliance and/or regulatory requirements.
  • Participates in the development of regulatory strategies and business ops training plans to ensure full operationalization of new CCS compliance and/or regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinates response(s) to relevant inquiries by regulatory agencies as directed by TransUnion's Chief Compliance Officer and/or CCS senior leadership. This position will catalog, track and monitor all deliverables associated with regulatory inquiries and/or supervisory exams, providing regular updates on progress and constraints/risks.
  • Collaborates with the internal business ops and/or governance representatives for the shared industry platforms on industry-related initiatives that require the creation and implementation of regulatory-related business requirements.
  • Participates in regularly scheduled industry-level Working Group Meetings (as deemed necessary).
  • Identifies and evaluates business and technology risks, internal controls which mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement.

What You'll Bring:

Bachelor's degree and/or at least 5-7 years experience in a financial industry, with hands on experince supporting and leading regulatory/compliance-related objectives

  • Strong individual contributor skills; works independently with minimal direct oversight and to take direction when needed
  • Proven project management-related work experience
  • Ability to influence cross-organizational stakeholders with desired outcomes
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with external business partners and regulatory agencies
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to analyze, define, and effectively convey difficult and complex issues in a way that accurately and persuasively communicates the issues to internal and external stakeholders
  • Critical thinking skills; is a problem solver
  • Analytical skills
  • Meeting facilitation skills; ensures adequate recaps and status updates
  • Problem solving skills; can anticipate project-related constraints and quickly adjust to ensure milestones are not jeopardized
  • Strong computer skills are required including advanced Microsoft Office skills
