Major Account Executive- West
Sells products and/or services to commercial firms; calls on customers; demonstrates products; prepares forms and sales paperwork. Responsible for the selling effort in an assigned geographic area. Attempts to maximize sales and minimize expenses in assigned area. Responsible for maintaining and cross/up selling on an existing book of business for their territory and prospecting for new opportunities.

As a Major Account Executive I, you will be responsible for all Bulk and Metadata sales activities associated with Credit Header, non-credit/ non-GLBA, and Aggregated Credit Data, delivered in bulk, batch or transactionally.
You will maintain relationships with a variety of customer organizations and other third party organizations who serve primarily TransUnion’s defined Diversified Markets industries. These customers provide many types of services to commercial entities and in some cases: consumers. These entities use TransUnion metadata assets to enhance many types of products and services they provide to commercial entities and consumers.
Additionally, you will be responsible for generating sales revenue by proactively prospecting new customers. You will participate as a major contributor in the development of creative bulk data solutions that best enhance and match customer needs.
You will be expected to establish a strong internal network with numerous departments that support Bulk and Metadata sales, including but not limited to ISG/ Product Management, Marketing, Accounting, Analytics Decision Solutions, Batch Credit Services/Operations, Legal/Compliance, USIS Enterprise Sales, USIS Geographic Sales Offices, and Vertical Sales leadership.
You will be expected to maintain and strengthen consultative relationships with specified customers, both internal and external to TransUnion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing or Information Technologies
- Must have a working knowledge of credit management/marketing and compiled data used by a variety of industries from financial services to retail consumer good.
- Must be detail oriented and a self-starter
- Ability to prospect and conduct cold calls
- Proficient in all personal business technology e.g. MS Office, and all related electronic devices which pertain to inter-personal communications.
Minimum of five years sales, marketing or information technology experience
