Insurance Claims Product Manager

How You’ll Contribute:
Product Strategy and Business Cases- Makes product strategy recommendations andpresent business cases to management then execute implementation of productstrategies and objectives to meet business unit objectives
Assessment potential business partners – Prepares reports with information onfinancial position, competitive position, and partnership opportunities.Reports on the strengths and weaknesses of potential partners and assesses therisk for entering a business venture.
Product Research Analysis and Business Development – Provides a comprehensiveassessment for assigned product(s) related to revenue, profitability, pricing,product life cycle, distribution channels, positioning, marketing messages, promotionstrategy and make recommendations to the Sr. Director, Product Management. Alsoproduces competitive analysis materials on product competitors.
Product Launch & Roll-Out – Oversees the approved product launch andgo-to-market plans. Is involved at a high level with Account Management andMarketing to ensure product is effectively launched.
Business Unit Support – Provides high level field and sales support alignedwith individual product strategies. Gives guidance to product analyst,onboarding and support teams on handling complex issues.
Presentations: Conductspresentations on product roadmap and projects, represents the business unit atsales meetings, customer meetings, and cross-organizational internal meetings
What You’ll Bring:
Experienced working with Insurance products and knowledgeable Insurance product development
ABachelor’s degree with an emphasis in finance, mathematics, business or anequivalent field.
A minimum of 5 years ofexperience related to product management or product development.
P&C insurance experience, especially with knowledge ofunderwriting, risk and/or claims and how insurance policies are processed, whatdata is used, and reviews or investigations that may follow.
Proven communication and organizational skills with abilityto manage multiple project/products simultaneously are required.
Independence, initiative, and business acumen are necessaryfor the success of the incumbent.
Priorexperience in business information services is preferred.
