Enterprise Marketing and Communications Manager

Dynamics of the Role

Reporting directly to theVice President, Global Communications, and this position helps execute andbring to life TransUnion’s overall Enterprise Communication strategy. TheEnterprise communications team is responsible for positioning TransUnion in themarketplace and developing strategic programs to demonstrate and reinforce thatpositioning. This is a small but dynamic communications team that is shapingthe future of TransUnion in the marketplace, with a mandate to build, promoteand protect TransUnion’s reputation.

How You’ll Contribute

The Enterprise Marketing and Communications Manager will be a critical member of the team with responsibilities to:

  • Developfully integrated marketing/communication plans for strategic communicationthemes throughout the year (Story Arcs)
  • Developenterprise-level thought-leadership messaging and materials that set the toneand provide an anchor for vertical and product-level messaging
  • Developvaried and compelling content and determine optimal delivery
  • Coordinatewith vertical marketing leads globally to ensure alignment to the plan
  • Managecomplex projects and enforce deadlines
  • Createsuccess metrics and report on progress
  • Supportcorporate communications efforts
  • Supportcommunications programs that build TransUnion’s reputation internally andexternally
  • Developcompelling content and determine optimal delivery. Deliverables will includeemail messages, presentations, media releases, website content, articles,video, talking points, Q&A, social media content, digital signage, and more
  • Stewardcorporate voice and communication, providing counsel on strategic approach, andsupporting tactical execution, including message development
  • Supportthe planning and execution of enterprise announcements, which typically spanmultiple audiences and channels
  • Supportcrisis communications preparedness activities, including work to strengthen ourplan and processes, as well as issues responses, as part of a cross-functionalresponse team.
  • Contributeto and manage a variety of other brand/enterprise level initiatives, including:
  • Supportingthe corporate and product naming process and requests
  • Identifyingand applying for corporate awards
  • Maintainingand updating TransUnion corporate materials
  • Developstrong relationships with colleagues at various levels throughout TransUnionand within the marketing team including public relations, marketing, internalcommunications, brand, social media, investor relations, government relations,human resources, legal, compliance and more

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, English, orrelated field
  • A minimum of 7 years relevant professional experience, preferablyin a comparable industry
  • A strong background in PR, marketing, corporate and externalcommunications
  • PR or advertising agency background a plus
