Decisioning GIC Manager

What We'll Bring:
•A seasoned technology manager who can coordinate across the dynamic and energetic Decisioning team working across various regions to deliver solutions to customers. The job function demands collaborating with the various Decisioning teams and help them accelerate customer deliveries
•Will address any concerns with respect to deliverables that are brought to his attention by the regional managers
•Drive the team to systematically share knowledge. Also identify the training needs of each team by working with the managers

As Manager, You Will Be Responsible For

Technology:
  • Interact with various regional development managers to design and create the best practices/ tools/ reusable components
  • Drive the team to systematically share the various tools / reusable components available across region
  • Support technology initiatives in consultation with product and customization teams
  • Work with COPs to drive the adoption of best practices around coding, design, quality, performance in the product and customization teams
  • Analyze lessons learned and implement process changes for continuous improvement
  • Conduct regular follow-up with associate complete the mandatory/compliance training / clarity


People:
  • Create systemic way to cross train the knowledge across the regions
  • Support hiring processes
  • Ensure productivity is maximized through training, analysis, and feedback of performance data on a periodic basis
  • Capitalize on the bench resources , train them on the DC platform and fill the open position
  • Ensure the associates are nominated for Rewards / Recognition in consultation with the team leads and DC regional managers
  • Vendor management for contractors working directly with GIC teams

Impact You'll Make:
  • Experience developing data-driven applications (SQL Server/ Stored Procedures / Views / Functions / Web Services)
  • Strong experience in Microsoft technologies
  • Knowledge of Architectural Patterns
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum Development
  • Must be self-directed and proactive; think beyond immediate problem
  • Must have strong communication skills for internal and external stakeholders
  • Must have experience working with external customers and delivering products/capabilities to external customers
  • Must have experience managing large teams with different functions such as developers, business analysts, project managers, QA, configuration analysts, solution architects
  • 7-10+ years of management experience with a track record of building high-performance teams working across complex customer software development projects
  • 3-5 years of experience with dev ops practices like CICD, Dark Features, Canary releasing, Blue-Green releases
  • Bonus: experience with Cloud transformation (e.g. AWS, Azure, or GCP)
