Business Analyst

Dynamics of the Role

TransUnion Healthcare's Insurance Clearinghouse is the second largest submitter of eligibility transactions in the US. Based in Charlotte, NC, we currently have an opportunity for an Agile Business Analyst. This role will support our Product Owners as we pursue aggressive growth goals across multiple products. Under supervision from product team leadership, you'll use your strong communication, problem solving, and documentation skills to refine business problems into actionable user stories for our development teams to turn into software solutions. You will also assist in compiling product research and documentation and in delivering completed products to market. The person in this growth position will be asked to contribute meaningfully to our growing platform and to lead increasingly complex projects over time.

How You'll Contribute:

  • Document existing business process and logic and help build new processes as we scale new products on our platform
  • Work with teams to define business processes and translate those processes into functional requirements for the development team
  • Assist Product Owners in compiling project plans, success criteria, and end user documentation
  • Work with development and QA teams to ensure the desired feature functionality is built as desire

  • Intellectual curiosity and the desire and ability to solve new problems
  • 1-3 years in an analyst role, preferably working in an Agile software environment
  • Healthcare Revenue Cycle experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong writing and documentation skills
  • Consensus-driven approach
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
