Senior Manager, International PR

Overview

Support the Senior Director of International PR & Marketing in the management of PR activities in close partnership with regional teams in Europe and Asia and direct management of Latin America Partners. Ensure that teams/Partners have the assets and information necessary to execute local programs in alignment with global brand objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in developing and implementing annual and seasonal international PR plans
  • Act as liaison to global PR regional teams and agencies ensuring that they have all the tools needed within an appropriate timeframe in order to execute media strategies per zone at the highest level (i.e. – proactive emails re: company planned events/initiatives, approved assets, collection statements etc.) 
  • Manage the development of key press materials including press releases, media alerts, and talking points in partnership with Brand Communications team
  • Manage a schedule/pitch packages for continuous cadence of proactive outreach
  • Manage developing PR Asset Packages for ongoing proactive pitches and key campaigns, ensuring the timely delivery and accuracy
  • Manage PR programs supporting seasonal product objectives, product launches, key message initiatives, store openings, collaborations
  • Manage international media interviews and feature stories, product/sample/image requests
  • Manage and oversee execution of international press days and international press and retail/wholesale presence during NYFW
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with international correspondents and stylists 
  • Manage sample product and gift product ordering/distribution
  • Oversee coordination of press clippings reports and press event reports, INTL PR presentations
  • Manage press thank you notes and gifts execution
  • Maintain excellent internal relationships with cross functional key partners – design, merchandising, marketing, social, ecomm, retail, wholesale, visual display etc.
  • Weekly/bi-weekly operations calls with local teams/Partners/Licensees
  • Supervise International PR Associate

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • 6-8 years of experience in Public Relations
  • Superior writing and communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively, setting and meeting deadlines while maintaining quality of work
  • Results driven, analytical thinker
  • Self-motivator with a highly collaborative spirit
  • Outstanding collaboration and project management skills
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • High level of ownership, accountability, initiative and drive
  • Quick learner and resourceful; able to prioritize effectively
  • Comfortable with operating in a fast-paced environment and dealing with ambiguity
  • Previous experience in fashion/apparel/retail
  • Previous international experience
  • Foreign languages a plus (Chinese, Japanese, Italian, French preferred)
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Social Media
