Brand Marketing Director

Overview

Lead the strategy and planning of all Tory Burch global seasonal ad campaigns and brand content creation projects, ensuring assets are delivered on-brand and on-brief, partnering closely with production on execution and budget  

Responsibilities

  • Lead global campaign content creation strategy (fueling print, OOH, digital, social), partnering closely with global business units to ensure key investments and brand messages are supported with the right content mix
  • Ensure all content ties back to key brand campaigns and clearly communicates the values and visual language of the Tory Burch brand
  • Ideate, initiate, and maintain relationships with external creative partners and agencies, including all contract and fee negotiations
  • Drive pre-shoot planning meetings with cross-functional partners, mapping out content needs across global marketing channels and ensuring all key messages and sub-messages are represented
  • Align closely with international marketing teams to ensure global asset needs are accounted for and delivered; develop regionally tailored solutions where necessary
  • Own shot list development (inclusive of both still images and video) and manage creative approval process from campaign brief and concepting to final asset delivery
  • Create and present campaign and styling briefs to educate creative partners (both internal and external) on key product investments and campaign objectives
  • Oversee sample management for creative content projects, including partnering with merchandising and production teams to ensure all campaign styles are accurately represented and key samples arrive on-time
  • Lead weekly content status meetings to update cross-functional teams on all projects and solicit feedback on creative execution
  • Collate creative feedback from cross-functional partners and business units for the benefit of future campaigns
  • Oversee global content creation production budget, with the ability to provide real-time executive summaries to top level management, and adapt strategies to changing business needs; partner closely with production
  • Attend all photoshoots and provide critical feedback where necessary  
  • Generate executable ideas for talent, programs, partnerships and overall and marketing mix
  • Oversight of content supporting all channels of business and product categories: Retail, ecomm, wholesale, licensing, home, International travel retail etc.
  • Partner w/ production to ensure all shoots are executed on-time/on budget
  • Partner closely with internal Digital Studios team to prioritize in-season content creation requests and facilitate concepting and approvals with creative team

Qualifications

  • 10 - 15+ year’s experience in Brand Marketing, Content Creation
  • Experience in Luxury & Fashion preferred
  • International experience critical
  • Experience managing external agencies and partners preferred
  • Passion and enthusiasm for the Tory Burch brand and customer
