Sr Test Engineer

Tasks & Responsibilities

Design and execute test scenarios based on requirements, user stories and feedback from developers. These test scenarios can be manual or automated. In case the tests are automated the available test framework(s) should be used

Verifying navigation software both in a lab and in a car environment

Maintain traceability to relevant requirements and user stories

Reporting and communicating test results and found problems in a clear an unambiguous manner

Failure analysis and reproduction of known problems

Reviewing of test cases and requirements, you will be extensively involved in the review process

Knowledge/skills required

Being able to work on a Bachelor level or higher, preferably with a background in IT

Knowledge of the Linux and Android operating systems, experience with (automated) test tools like Squish and Selenium is a plus

Experience with at least one scripting language (e.g. Python) is required. Experience with object oriented programming languages like C++ and JAVA is a plus

Excellent people and communication skills, being able to work across multiple teams and cultures

At least an ISTQB/ISEB 'foundation' qualification and / or experience with T-map, but preferably one or more ISTQB advanced qualifications

Fluent English (verbal, read, write)
