SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER, Consumer division - Japan

The position is responsible for managing all aspects of the business and developing deep relationships with top national retail chains and other assigned accounts to achieve revenue and market share goals. This includes assortment planning, promotion planning, forecasting and competitive analysis within assigned national accounts.

  • Top to bottom account planning with assigned accounts
  • Deciding product ranging within assigned accounts to maximize sell outs and key features across the product range
  • Collaborative planning of all advertising, online and in store promotional offers
  • Management of all account related budgets: promotional budgets
  • Analysis of competitive products and activity within assigned accounts
  • Day-to Day interaction with field sales team(Field Account Managing people) and distributor sales team, giving them direction on action items for assigned accounts
  • Frequent interaction and involvement of senior management of retailers/distributor(s) to maximize results within assigned accounts
  • Timely and accurate reporting and tracking of all key metrics: sell in & out, inventory, promotional and advertising results, and performance against forecast
  • Plan and do product usage study session at retail stores
  • Retail event and race expo planning and attending
  • Achievement of quarterly sales targets
