Digital Content Manager

Job Summary

The Digital Content Manager oversees planning, strategy, operations, performance & governance of all content for TOMS Digital Platform(s). Will also own the entire testing process from concept to execution. They will manage testing and site optimization program for all TOMS Americas digital properties including,, and The Content Manager will design, build, execute, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests aimed at personalizing the customer experience and achieving measurable improvements in site performance against business goals and KPIs.

The Content Manager will manage relationships between support functions, such as creative and technical teams, to identify project scope and opportunities for efficiency and innovation on current and future content & projects. Has digital expertise in relevant editorial principles, technical matters, product merchandising and best practices. Essential Responsibilities

  • Utilize web analytics tools to understand user behavior and identify potential issues/opportunities
  • In partnership with Director of CX, lead ideation and brainstorming sessions
  • Work collaboratively to generate creative ideas, coupled with sound editorial judgment and data driven decisions
  • Prioritize test concepts and develop/maintain quarterly testing roadmap
  • Define test methodologies and success metrics
  • Closely monitor live tests, provide regular status updates, and quickly resolve/escalate any issues
  • Build out user experiences through A/B or multivariate test and execute
  • Analyze tests results and present findings/recommendations to key stakeholders; achieve buy-in before promoting the winning version of a test to production
  • Document and archive test materials
  • Be the company's champion for a "test-and-learn" culture and manage cross-functional testing team
  • Project Manage medium/large digital programs from conception to delivery
  • Plan, procure, edit and arrange the materials for the website (work with business analysts and web developers to understand constraints and best approach, schedule resources to create content, work with UXUI and creative teams to create content, etc.)
  • Oversee content team
  • Oversee ecommerce calendar
  • Manage vendor relationships

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in an e-commerce environment (preferably in the retail industry)
  • Project management background
  • Basic understanding of responsive design principles
  • Ability to analyze and interpret web data/statistics
  • Basic CSS and HTML development skills
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript and JQuery.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (preferably in a quantitative field such as user-centered design, mathematics/statistics, economics, computer science, engineering, or business)
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Docs, and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with heatmap and session capture tools (e.g., HotJar)
  • 5+ years of retail experience
  • Experience with testing tools (Monetate, Optimizely, Optimize 360)
