Technical Delivery Specialists to be accountable for the delivery of cross functional development and systems integration projects for T-Mobile USA. The specialist role, supporting Release Delivery, is responsible for planning the night of deployment activities and coordinating the implementation of code deployments to the IT production environment. The specialist is ultimately responsible for the coordination, quality, timely and cost-effective delivery of software, device and technical releases. The specialist has to work effectively with upper management and multiple stakeholders and to apply customer relationship management practices, including the identification of appropriate, mutually agreed objectives. The specialist must also be able to work with technical resources such as Developers, Testers and Application Support teams to track and resolve issues during build, test and deployment phases to enable the successful delivery of all releases.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan, and coordinate small, medium and large deployments requiring the support of multiple release delivery managers and teams to deliver releases on time and with quality.

Apply program and project management experience with full product development lifecycle, including project planning and execution, business analysis, design and build, quality assurance and testing, deployment and issue resolution utilizing multiple delivery methodologies: Waterfall, Agile and Scrum and continuous delivery processes.

Partner with and coordinate work efforts across multiple EIT (Enterprise Information Technology) and Business teams and products and services vendors.

Control scope and assess impacts of scope changes at the project and release level; as well as identify, mitigate and resolve release risks and issues.

Apply experience in release management planning, coordinating and implementing, two technical upgrades per month, 10-15 software releases per month consisting of 10 to 30 projects per release and quarterly device launches.

Apply experience supporting the deployments of complex IT solutions amongst multiple platform including Billing, Retail, Web, and Customer Services in the telecommunications industry.

Clearly and succinctly communicate with different stakeholders including the Senior Leadership team.

Must be able to work nights and weekends when required.

Functional and Technical Skills:

Applicant's experience must include:

Program and project management experience with full product development lifecycle, including project planning and execution, business analysis, design and build, quality assurance and testing, deployment and issue resolution utilizing multiple delivery methodologies: Waterfall, Agile and Scrum and continuous delivery processes;

Experience partnering and coordinating work efforts across multiple businesses, engineering and EIT organizations as well as product and services vendors in the telecommunications industry;

Experience in release management planning, coordinating and implementing, two technical upgrades per month, 10-15 software releases per month consisting of 10 to 30 projects per release and quarterly device launches; and

Experience supporting the deployments of complex IT solutions amongst multiple platform including Billing, Retail, Web, and Customer Services in the telecommunications industry.

Must be able to work nights and weekends when required.

Experience and Education:

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems, related field or its equivalent and 3 years of relevant work experience.

ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Applicant must have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems, related field or its equivalent and 5 years of relevant work experience.

Will accept applicant with any suitable combination of education, training or experience. Will accept a bachelor's equivalent based on a combination of education as determined by a qualified evaluation service.
