T-Mobile USA is a leading provider of digital GSM/GPRS, UMTS, and LTE wireless voice and data technology standards. Senior Technology Sourcing Managers located in Bellevue, WA will play a key role in driving spending discipline via the employment of effective strategic sourcing, contract management, negotiation, and supplier management practices.

Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Develop, recommend, and/or implement strategic initiatives associated with improving procurement practices.

Partner with strategic suppliers in the EIT/Engineering/Carrier procurement group to ensure alignment of procurement solutions to business objectives and priorities.

Lead projects in the delivery of high-quality solutions on time and within budget.

Provide key input / status updates to senior leadership and suppliers during procurement lifecycle.

Hold self-knowledge on procurement strategy, contract negotiations, strategic sourcing, risk mitigation principles, and cost evaluation methods.

Communicate and report to senior leadership and executives on project status.

Skill requirements:

(1) developing and implementing business strategy, including business case writing and negotiation.

(2) leading complex technology-related procurement projects, including strategic sourcing, contract management, negotiation, and supplier management practices, as well as the procurement of RAN and other network assets.

(3) managing functional and technical business requirements, projects plans and schedules in a mid to large size company.

(4) tracking and monitoring progress through Ariba procurement software.

(5) overseeing the drafting, negotiation, and execution of contractual documents, including master service agreements, statements of work, letter agreements, and purchase orders.

Experience and education requirements

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Technology or Engineering or related and 5 years of relevant work experience.

ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Technology or Engineering or related and 8 years of relevant work experience.
