The Sr. Software Development Engineer in Test role will be accountable for designing the automated testing efforts within our Human Resources Domain for cloud based HR applications like Workday and Kronos, using Selenium Automation Framework to support various projects, enhancements and bug fixes in Agile Methodology. Preferred Skill-set

  • Testing Experience in HR workspace Workday & Kronos
  • Strong understanding and experience in Workday Core concepts, Navigations, Organizations, Security, Defining Business Process, Integrations, Self Service, Reporting and Workday Mobile
  • Strong understanding and experience in Kronos - Project Team Fundamentals w/Calc Accruals, Managing Timecards, Pay rule Calculations & Preparing for Payroll, Managing Schedules for Retail, WIM's

Requirements:

Automating Web(GUI/UI) Application and Web services, Backend Testing & Flex Supported Apps

  • Professional experience using 3 or more development languages (e.g. Python, J2EE, PL/SQL, C#, JavaScript, etc.) and tools (e.g. Jenkins, Maven, GIT, artifactory)
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as [Selenium, TestNG, Appium, Sauce Labs, Rest Assured, Postman, Cucumber, Jasmin, Protractor]
  • Experience in ALM tool such as HP QC, HP UFT (to support Flex Application)
  • Experience in automation tools like Ranorex or Zaptest (to support Flex Application)
  • Experience in Agile Delivery Tools: Rally, Jira
  • Has development or testing experience preferably in CI/CT/CD, and Agile a CI/CT or DevOps environment
  • Experience with code versioning and management, including Git, SVN
  • Experience in Agile/DevOps methodology
  • Performs peer reviews
  • Collaborates with other team members on design and test case scenario
  • Helps remove technical impediments raised by the team
  • Partners with Developers, AppOps, DevOps and other Agile based enterprise roles
  • Understand test methodologies and automation
  • Implement solutions for test automation and improve test coverage
  • Estimate/measure software performance
  • Experience with test harness design
  • Estimate effort for design, development and test automation tasks
  • Ability to work independently on a project and collaborate with multiple stake holders
  • Professional experience with various testing methodologies and strategies: Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to decompose complex problems and perform root cause analyses
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill

API Service-level Testing

  • Understanding of Web technologies, protocols and formats (HTTP, HTML, JSON, REST, XML, etc)
  • Understanding and experience with testing API services
  • Experience with writing end-to-end tests using Protractor is a plus
  • Experience in LISA, Loadrunner, JMeter (Using Service Virtualization for test)

Mobile Application Testing

  • Experience in using Java
  • Selenium Web Driver and APPIUM
  • Mobile/Web application knowledge
  • CICD Setup with Jenkins
  • XCODE or Android SDK
