Sr. SharePoint Developer/Designer

It currently serves approximately 58 million wireless subscribers and provides products and services through 70,000 points of distribution.The User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) Designer will be responsible for creating and building intuitive, functional, and visually appealing user interfaces, to include: web sites, mobile app screens, site maps, wireframes, and interactive prototypes. Position is accountable for creating and implementing messages, UI workflows and visual aesthetic related to T-Mobile’s business, with an emphasis on managing overall user experience for the enterprise web portal and mobile app (T-Nation) and our press site.

The UI/UX Designer is responsible for the design, wireframe and front end development to support enterprise projects, website enhancements, organization sites, and section refreshes/re-designs. The UI/UX Designer collaborates with cross-functional teams which include product managers, campaign managers, producers, developers, Website Designers, and agency partners. This position will serve as a user-centered design expert, ensuring that the most effective, innovative, and usable solutions are created. Have a great understanding of business requirements, user needs, usability testing, business processes, and to present design concepts and deliverables. Comfort level with SharePoint is a must.

As well as create simple solutions, consistency and elegant design of a project from concept and discovery phases through launch.

Strong knowledge of SharePoint and SharePoint Designer, HTML, CSS, Javascript.

Web design in design firm, advertising agency or corporate environment with rapid concepting and delivery time frames (4-6 Years)

Designing web interfaces on large scale projects (4-6 Years)

Expertise in Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator, Adobe Premiere.

Acts as liaison between key business stakeholders, web development &application support teams, responds to questions/ issues and reacts quickly when required. Proactively communicates status requests to business owners and key stakeholders as needed, and manages deliverable/launch expectations with all business owners. Tracks and monitors requests from inception to completion. Oversees and makes sure timelines are being followed for multiple requests. Shifts priorities quickly to ensure deadlines are met.

Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills including the ability to communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.

Work with senior management to provide support and input to internal departments, including education about the web publishing and design process as required. Communicate issues and set expectations with the key stakeholders of our internal departments and partners.

Contributes to the greater team as a user experience consultant in requirements gathering, feature development, brainstorming and idea-generating sessions.

Designs online materials such as Flash presentation layouts, animated gifs, screen designs/prototypes, and web page retouching and enhancements. Optimizes graphic images for web, utilizes web standards to ensure best in class design
