For more information, please visit http://www.t-mobile.comThe Senior Manager is responsible for the implementation of agile programs to assist T-Mobile in achieving business initiatives which includes managing the entire life cycle for specific segment of new and existing product, offer or service within a T-Mobile line of business. The Senior Manager is the central force for building and maintaining a creative team and managing resource plans to support the ebb and flow of work within a dynamic environment. Provides high level oversight of the Project Management team's activities while acting as liaison to senior management and business stakeholders. The Senior Manager will interface with business and technology Directors, Vice Presidents, and functional disciplines such as Finance, IT, Engineering, Marketing and Business Channels. Minimum 8 years experience managing personnel and coaching team members on resolving conflict and performance issues; formal training in coaching or management skills required
Minimum 8 years experience in the telecommunications or IT industry, with a proven record of progressive and/or diverse roles
Minimum 8 years Project Management experience with managing or leading large, complex technology projects
Minimum 8 years experience in developing and delivering professional presentations on project status and issues to the senior management leve
Minimum 8 years experience in providing technical expertise and guidance to peers and other Project Managers
Ability to function as an effective team leader; solve practical problems, set organizational goals and team objectives, and delegate and monitor progress towards desired results
Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities, exhibit objectivity and openness to others' views, give and receive feedback, contribute to building a positive team spirit, and put success of team above own interests
Ability to build morale and lead group commitments to goals and objectives
Ability to synthesize complex or diverse information, collect and research data, use intuition and experience to complement data, design work flows and procedures, analyze data, and recognize key trends in order to enable executive-level decision making
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly and concisely present information in one-on-one and small group situations and interact effectively at all levels and across diverse corporate cultures
In-depth knowledge of wireless telecommunications, with focus on Engineering, Operations and Development.
Excellent time management skills
Proficient in use of MS Office, specifically Project, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong customer and results orientation
Ability to think creatively, work under pressure, and demonstrate strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
5 years experience in the wireless telecommunications industry
5 years experience managing virtual teams
Bachelors Degree. Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management or combination of equivalent experience and education
Master's / Advanced Degree desired
License or Certification
PMP certification desired
Scrum certification desired

Works with Manager-level peers to resolve cross-functional project issues. At least 18 years of age. Legally authorized to work in the United States. High School Diploma or GED.
