T-Mobile USA is a leading provider of digital GSM/GPRS, UMTS, and LTE wireless voice and data technology standards. Senior Analysts, Systems located in Bothell, WA will consult with business teams and assess business requirements, functional design, configuration, and development of systems, collaborating with other teams to create innovative end-to-end solutions.

Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for communications, business, and general computing applications.

Set operational specifications and formulate and analyze software requirements.

Apply principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.

Deliver functional scope analysis and detailed solution design for the processes and systems impacted, and provide a work plan for each project assigned.

Translate business requirements into process, system impacts, and functional requirements; as well as identifying and assessing potential data sources.

Ensure stakeholders, management, and project managers are fully informed of project risks, team activities, and project status.

Research, identify, and drive improvements to project efficiency, speed, and quality via new cross-team synergies, methods, tools, and staffing models.

Collaborate with business and IT partner teams to develop business capability and technology roadmaps, provide education on potential process and system solution options, and drive business/IT investigation of emerging strategic capabilities.

Skill requirements:

  1. Producing system design specification and business requirements specification documents for mobile communications devices and accessories in customer facing catalogs in order to launch new products and services across multiple business units.

  2. Utilizing Scrum and Agile (DevOps) methodology to deliver new marketing initiatives, including preparing detailed work flow, activity, and sequence diagrams, and outlining systems capabilities and processes.

  3. Writing queries in logical and physical databases using Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.

  4. Utilizing HP Quality Center, Rally, and JIRA.

  5. Working with Websphere Commerce, OMS, and SBC tools to launch new mobile communications devices, accessories, products, and services across various assisted and non-assisted channels.

Education and experience requirements:

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Science or related, and 3 years of relevant work experience.

ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related, and 5 years of relevant work experience.
