Sr Analyst, Supply Planning

For more information, please visit http://www.t-mobile.comThis position is responsible for collaborating across multiple programs to manage the reverse flow of handsets, tablets and wearables from forward distribution channels. (I.e. buyers remorse, dealer returns, retail stock balancing, EOL, Trade In Programs, warranty and insurance claims, etc.) This position will be responsible for the forecasting of these programs based on historical data, seasonality, promotions, and overall industry trends. This includes, but not limited to, managing the forecasts of supply from multiple sources to ensure availability to fill demand across multiple programs: warranty, insurance, refurbishment sales, and extended warranty. Forecasts will include device receipt forecasts, return center processing forecasts (several within each RC), repair requirements forecasts, kitting requirements by channel and any other forecasts required as a result in new processes or programs launched. This position is responsible for all aspects of communication/management of a supply plan with 3rd party providers. Other duties include ad hoc reporting, participation in design and implementation of forecast models, product life-cycle management, cost analysis and process documentation.3-5 years' experience in supply chain planning

Thorough understanding of forecasting methodologies, materials management, and general inventory management concepts and theories

An understanding of general database structure and applications

Strong analytical skills

Advanced Excel experience

High School Diploma/GED Requires competency in customer focus, change & innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building & influencing, talent management, results focus and inspirational leadership.

Facilitate and manage weekly forecasting process and meeting with 3rd party to ensure supply is being utilized most efficiently.

Work cross-functionally with demand planning team to gain understanding of demand trends and fully understand any gaps in supply and demand.

Communicates impacts of any supply shortages that could limit supply to support sales channels, warranty or insurance programs. Ensures forecast is shared/received in the format, level of detail, and timing required by all customers and supply chain partners with documented assumptions.

Creates and delivers weekly forecast review based on forecasting root performance analysis. Communicates clearly and effectively to all internal customers of plans and forecasts maintaining consistent files of performance.

Analyzes performance and trends, identifies opportunities and risks, and proactively communicates to cross-functional teams. Including, root cause, MAPE, MAP, channel issues, and suggests process improvements based on root cause findings.

Implements the refinement and improvements of supply planning processes and systems to support business requirements.

Manages overall inventory budget and levels in accordance with departmental quarterly inventory level goals. At least 18 years of age. Legally authorized to work in the United States.
