For more information, please visit http://www.t-mobile.comThis position will lead Finance Back Office (Back Office) testing for new systems and related upgrades to help ensure financial integrity at T-Mobile. This role will primarily support the new Ericsson billing system and Revenue Sub-ledger (RSL) implementations and subsequent upgrades along with various finance applications and projects.. This includes understanding systems functionalities and related reporting for testing efforts. The lead will partner with finance business teams to create test scenarios; monitors test procedures and processes and assist resources in identifying defects. In addition, the lead partners with the financial control test team (FCT) for gathering scenario input from the finance business teams. This person also partners with the finance business teams to validate test results.o Microsoft office suite.
o 5 to 7 years of working experience in QAT/UAT.
o 3 to 5 years of working experience in leading back-office, financial systems and reports testing activities using agile methodology.
o Strong analytical, technical and problem solving skills as well as ability to communicate clearly.
o Ability to multi-task and work concurrently with multiple teams
o Strong working knowledge of defect management tools such as HP Quality Center.
o Experience in developing/validating financial and reporting test scenarios.
o Experience in using various testing tools/applications.
o Basic SQL.
o Bachelor in computer science, business intelligence, information management or related fields.Responsibilities:
Requires experience in customer focus, innovation, strategic thinking and accurate results.
o Participate in test requirements, functional specification and technical specification reviews.
o The ability to learn new systems designs, functionalities and ability to train new Back office test resources.
o Write business-focused test plan that keeps requirements considerations in sight.
o Collaborate with Finance back-office users to understand Back Office scenarios.
o Ensure all the scenarios are mapped to the relevant requirements and identify possible gap which entails a CR.
o Develop test cases, execute test scripts, document and communicate test results to appropriate parties.
o Write SQL scripts to perform data validation on tables and reports.
o Work with IT & 3rd Party vendors on requirements for setting up test environment.
o Assist in identifying required test data.
o Participate in Back Office activities and monitor test progress.
o Validate and review test results for its accuracy and completeness of test coverage.
o Produce new scripts to troubleshoot and identify problems or research data in questions.
o Use Quality Center as a defect tracking systems to communicate defects and their status.
o Follow Back Office processes and procedures to effectively assist others to produce deliverables .
o Partner with FCT to ensure coverage for finance business scenarios
o Be a team player and assist in delivering assignments as needed. At least 18 years of age. Legally authorized to work in the United States. High School Diploma or GED.
