Sr Analyst, Business Process

Business Process Analyst will reside on the Business Process team and support Credit and Enterprise projects. The Senior Analyst has the primary responsibility to support the business and help facilitate changes to T-Mobile's Credit Application Processing Platform. This person must understand the business need, analyze system impacts, develop business requirements and test plans, and execute user acceptance testing to ensure the required standard of quality is met. Support will be provided to other areas of Credit Risk, outside departments such as Care, Fraud, Activations, Manual Review, Sales and EPO. This position requires someone with strong communications skills, and who can build strong working relationships across the organization. The Senior Analyst will also have ongoing interaction with external Vendors.

  • Bachelor degree in Business or equivalent work experience
  • Training or experience in project management and/or process improvement methodologies
  • 3-5 yrs experience in Credit Risk Management, Activations, Fraud, Manual Review, and Finance
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint required
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills
  • Position requires ability to be extremely flexible in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment while handling sensitive information in the strictest confidentiality
  • Successful candidate must be flexible and results orientated
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines
  • Creativity and the ability to reach insightful conclusions is a must
  • Candidate must be highly motivated and comfortable working in cross-functional teams interacting with all levels of management
  • Wireless/Telecom experiences a plus
  • Subject matter expert for the Credit Application Processing Platform including the inner workings of the system as well as its interactions with up and downstream systems
  • Owns credit strategy changes and works with business owners to ensure their vision is accurately translated into documentation
  • Influence and lead positive change to business processes by creating and recommending actionable solutions that are aligned with business objectives
  • Write detailed business requirements that consider the full scope of system impacts required to make changes as well as drive system efficiencies
  • Develop detailed test plans, and execute user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Lead team UAT efforts including regular communication to the Credit Team and Leadership as part of ongoing releases
  • Plan, facilitate, and participate in working sessions with vendors and cross functional teams
  • Adhoc system analysis to identify, document, and communicate potential system defects
  • Acts as a liaison between internal and external departments on all things related to the Credit Application Processing Platform
  • Represent the Credit Risk team as the main POC for Enterprise and other projects
  • Provides Manager and Senior Leadership with concise and accurate information for decision making
  • Competency in tracking project level issues and risks
  • Executes project status communications, meeting planning and scheduling
  • Responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
  • May train, provide direction to and review the work of other analysts
  • Ad hoc support to management or business partners
