Senior Technology Economics & Strategy Engineer

The Technology Economics & Strategy team is uniquely tasked with conducting research and economic analysis of critical engineering business topics. Our work helps craft engineering strategy, steer policy, and inform executive leadership decision making.
The group is seeking individuals whom are comfortable at the interface between engineering and financial disciplines, and can converse effectively with experts in either area. He/She will support the team in evaluation of new emerging technologies, assist with business case analysis, and craft insightful recommendations for the business
? Exceptional problem solving abilities and critical thinking
? Demonstrated proficiency with modeling using MS Excel
? Demonstrated excellent technical writing and formal presentation skills.
? Knowledge of business case fundamentals and economic modeling
? Self- motivated and able to work under pressure.
? Proven interpersonal skills and the ability to build consensus across teams
? Basic understanding of wireless industry cost structure
? Advanced quantitative modeling and/or statistics (e.g., Excel Solver, Crystal Ball, R)
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
? Enthusiastically contribute to team problem solving sessions
? Work with quantitative models in Excel, and build new models when needed
? Partner with other teams within T-Mobile when conducting internal research on projects
? Internally source both cost and value drivers needed to create business cases
? Develop storylines and strategy for executive presentations
