Job Description
Device & Supply Chain is an enterprise function accountable for the end-to-end life-cycle of T-Mobile's consumer-facing hardware portfolio (phones, chipsets, accessories, IoT), device services portfolio (insurance, warranty, trade-ins, and financing), and supply chain operations (distribution centers, logistics, inventory, etc.).
Within Device & Supply Chain, the Business Solutions team leads, creates and maintains the D&SC capabilities Roadmap and partners with internal stakeholders to provide solutions to pain pints. This team has end-to-end ownership of business solutions from Concept to Usability. In addition, this team collaborates with other enterprise functions to drive alignment and assess organizational & functional impacts of projects initiated in other parts of the organization.
Responsibilities
Responsible for overseeing a team accountable for identifying needs, initiating and providing end-to-end oversight of projects (Concept to Usability) and ensures that business benefits are achieved. In doing so, they are regularly interactive with senior leaders who sponsor initiatives. Partners with Director to create, manage and socialize the Device & Supply Chain initiative roadmap; ensuring that their team understands the linkage of the roadmap to the Device & Supply Chain strategy as well as their roles and responsibilities. As an experienced people manager, they hire, coach, mentor and develop talent; their positive, solution-oriented approach drives high team engagement.
- Manages a team of Business Solution Analysts (various levels) to ensure assigned initiatives are delivered on-time, on-budget and achieve business benefits. Sponsors and D&SC leadership are always aware of status and feel that their needs are met or exceeded.
- Leads the team through change; embracing it personally and helping guide their team through it. When it is related to initiatives, partners with stakeholders to support their team moving through the change and apply best practices to ensure successful delivery and realization of benefits.
- Supports creation, maintenance and socialization of the D&SC Initiative Roadmap; ensures that their team, business stakeholders and key cross-functional partners are engaged in the process and understand the outcomes. Provides input into prioritization decisioning and identifies synergies across the enterprise to eliminate duplicative efforts.
- Recruits and hires talent with appropriate skill sets for their role and the talent to develop and grown at T-Mobile. Invests in their team's development through evaluation of competencies, timely feedback (reinforcing and corrective) in a manner that increases engagement, maintains self-esteem and constantly raises the bar for performance.
- Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree -Business, Finance, Engineering, Management, Mathematics, Operations Management
- 7-10 Years - Supply Chain Business experience in one or more disciplines (Planning, Forecasting, Allocation/Replenishment, Operations)
- 4+ Years - People management experience is preferred
- Leadership -Lead, inspire, influence, and manage across own team, internal enterprise partners (Dir level and below), and external partners to deliver on functional goals and KPIs
- Strategic Thinking -Ability to apply experience, reasoning and logic to new or unfamiliar ideas or situations and provide an unbiased analysis

- Communication -Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to effectively communicate to both business and technical audiences at all levels from IC to SVP
- Change Management - Training in and experience applying one or more change management methodologies is preferred
