Sr Analyst, Business Solutions

T-Mobile's Payment Strategy and Operations Team (PSO) is seeking an experienced Business Solutions Analyst to join our team. As part of the Payments team you will support the successful completion of highly impactful customer facing enterprise projects designed to improve our customers payment experience and ensure compliance with payment regulations (PCI and NACHA). The successful candidate will have knowledge of payment processing (credit card, ACH, PayPal) in order to serve as a liaison between PSO and several areas to include Technology, Development, Legal, Compliance, Vendors, and other Lines of Business regarding projects impacting payments. This role will be accountable for understanding all key functional areas of the PSO organization (payment channels, back office exceptions, risk and controls, reporting and analytics), payment systems/platforms and will assess, create and validate requirements/user stories. Responsibilities include traditional project management (PMP) tasks, maintaining project documentation, conducting project assessment and prioritization, communicating with key PSO stakeholders and ensuring projects are executed with no impact to the payments echo system.


Responsibilities:

Based on project scope, determines the impact of the project and identifies potential risks, specifically around payments, exception processing, regulatory and compliance standards and customer experience. Work with partner resources and team to include any risk mitigation plans. Define business requirements for enterprise initiatives, approve test cases and user stories creation and validate test results Validate requirements are accurate in project documents. Provide technical leadership, coaching and mentoring. Help drive and lead change initiatives.

Works with project teams and stakeholders to establish Go/No-Go decision and quality control points to ensure project deliverables meet expectations. Assesses quality of documentation and deliverables. Mitigates issues through validation and test using both QAT and UAT methodologies. Communicates any gaps in design and sets realistic expectations on deliverables.

Develop cross functional relationships and effectively communicate complex program information to all levels of organizations.

Provide analysis to manager and senior manager on project escalation issues, including customer, regulatory and processing impacts. Plan, coordinate, and facilitate meetings/workshops with SME's and stakeholders to define, identify and capture complex cross functional requirements.

Creates reporting and facilitates meetings to provide status of PSO impacts on enterprise projects and to provide transparency to risks and issues that require senior management support and action. Establishes and maintains strong relationships with project team and partner departments.

Review, assess and prioritize incoming projects and or requests for PSO support. Be able to make recommendations to road map that will help team achieve key metrics/goals.

Provide onshore and offshore teams communication related to projects



Qualifications:

2-4 years' work experience supporting projects and understanding of PMI principles and practices
Bachelor's degree
Leadership and facilitation skills, the ability to work in groups and teams to identify issues and solve problems.
Consulting and influence skills, the ability to justify and sell ideas to senior management. Communicate with other stakeholders as necessary.
Commitment to providing excellent customer service to our customers and business partners; ability to collaborate within and outside of department.
Knowledge of and ability to work within multiple project methodologies
Strong facilitation and content development skills
Excellent and adaptable communication skills to the appropriate audience.
Must be proficient and have experience using MS Office (Excel,Word, PowerPoint). MS Project and Visio a plus.
Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many assignments, and create deliverables with limited direction
Ability to identify project impacting issues and work with senior members of the Project Management team to develop and implement solutions.

Preferred:
1-2 years Finance experience
1 year in Telecommunications
NACHA and PCI experience
Project Management Certification
