For more information, please visit http://www.t-mobile.comAs a Software Development Manager of the Data Ingestion team, you will build, develop, and manage a team of Business Intelligence developers, who will establish and help in building & maintaining a solid operational data store (ODS) environment. Your success will be measured on your ability to rapidly deliver world class software solutions to our business customers primarily focused on supply chain needs (Demand planning, Inventory Management, Forward & Reverse logistics etc.) but expanding into marketing, finance, sales and other areas with similar operational reporting needs. This position will work very closely with developers, analysts and technical delivery managers working on multiple projects with operational reporting requirements.Minimum required

Minimum 8 years' experience in an Analytics and Business Intelligence development environment

Minimum 5 years' experience managing or supervising a team of 15 developers or more

Demonstrated skills in the Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012 suite including:

o SQL Server Relational Database Management System

o Proven T-SQL and MDX development skills

o SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Self-starter with a high degree of self-management and commitment to delivery timelines

Demonstrated experience in delivering self-service BI solutions

Proven interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

Ability to clearly explain technical concepts and analysis implications to a wide audience

Strong skills in coding, troubleshooting, debugging, and relational and dimensional data modeling

Strong understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices

Comprehensive data warehouse analysis and design experience, with full knowledge of data warehouse methodologies and data modeling


Familiarity with Teradata, SAP HANA, Hadoop preferred

Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint and SharePoint's BI tools preferred, including:

o PerformancePoint Serviceso Excel Serviceso Cloud based BI solutions Proficiency with Visual Studio development environment preferred

Expert level data modeling and ETL skills, metadata management & data quality concepts, knowledge of industry best practices, and a deep understanding how data is extracted, transformed, scrubbed and loaded in a large DW environment with data originating from many source systems

Monitor and measure work tasks to ensure deliverables are provided on time and within budget

Design and lead Business Intelligence technology proof of concepts

Collaborate with business/systems analysts and developers on the efficient use of Microsoft BI and other visualization tools

Manage technical relationships with assigned vendors, including driving features and function requests for inclusion in future product releases
