We believe this helps earn trust, promotes advocacy, and deepens relationships with us by making things fun.The Manager, Software Development for T-Mobile Tuesdays will serve a crucial role in evolving the industry's most innovative customer appreciation platform. As our resident hacker, you will work in close concert with marketing and product management to lead a talented Agile SW development team to develop and enhance the T-Mobile Tuesdays application.

Basic Qualifications;

o 5+ years of experience planning, designing, developing and delivering software

o 2+ years of experience as a people manager in a software development organization

o Minimum 3 years of progressive leadership experience in setting technology strategy, software development, engineering, and operations

o Minimum 5 years of experience in mobile app development

o Minimum 3 years of experience in architecture, developing and delivery of large-scale business systems.

o Knowledge of Android, iOS, .Net, OO and Service Oriented Architecture

o Project management experience with agile development methodology

o Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

o Experience in Web development

o Experience with DevOps SW best practices

o People development, team building and mentoring experience

o Strong written and verbal communications

Mastery of IT Architecture, Technologies and concepts in the following areas:

o Business Process Management and workflows

o Enterprise Application Integration

o Cloud Platform (Azure)

o Portals, Rich Internet Applications and Web Development

Desired

o Full stack engineering experience, including front-end engineering developing responsive modern javascript applications

o Experience with stakeholder management

o Capacity to take a large-scale project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project

o Web / E-Commerce Modernization Experience

o Execute full development lifecycle of product from conception to market launch

o Hiring, development and coaching of great talent

o Understands and communicates the functional group's vision and creates alignment of their area to that vision.

o Establish KPI's and Scorecards with the Managed Service Vendor and produce on a weekly basis

o Lead a team to operate & support the platform and systems developed by performing operational tasks, establish and track KPIs, Cross Program Alignment & Enterprise Process Optimization

Education:

o Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering discipline

o Master's degree preferred
