Operational process development for optimizing data within billling accuracy will also be part of the role for this manager, such as rate plan migrations, data correction, and promotional support..Working understanding of subscriber-based billing systems and processes

Minimum 3 years experience in developing SQL based scripts in a large scale Oracle DB environment

Minimum 3 years in supervising/managing others for delivery of programmatic solutions

Strong interpersonal communication and documentation skills

Knowledge of revenue reporting and accounting

Experience in testing, quality and change management methodologies required

Previous experience in 24x7 system support capacity desired

Previous experience with SAMSON Billing System support desired

Previous experience with Ericsson Billing System support desiredResponsible for managing the development of database scripts to support various needs within Billing Operations. Directly responsible for intake of requirements from business units (Marketing, Finance, EIT, etc.) to translate into technical requirements for creation or alteration of scripts to support needs. Intakes can include Marketing initiatives, promotions, price plan offers, and device launches which are tightly coupled with the day to day billing run lifecycle activities. Focus on executing processes within the following process areas: Billing Offers, Promotions, Handset/Device Offers, Bill cycle governance, Output management processes, QA, and Backend end-of-day processes to include financial and collections activities. Plans, directs, and completes the analysis of business problems to be solved with scipted solutions to be developed via team members and/or managed service vendors. Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.

Essential Functions

Proficient at prioritizing and resolving day-to-day prioritization issues ensuring effective and timely resolution

Provide 24 x 7 support as required

Coordinate overall operational activities related to scrip execution between managed service providers

Proficient at creating, maintaining and updating SQL scripts and documentation

Understand application table structures and access in optimized approach to provide supportable results

Communicate changes and potential risks

Proficient at identifying sources and trends of technical problems to prevent future occurrences

Protect and insure the stability of the operational systems as well as maintain the integrity of the data they contain

Validate accuracy of data in reporting ahead of delivery to stakeholders

Education Minimum Requirements:
